Ever considered to walk all over artworks at an exhibition when the artist is present? If so then you must check out "The Creation of New Spaces of Perception" exhibition by the renowned German artist Eva Koethen on view at the German Consulate General in New York from Oct 1 - Oct 31, 2013. The installation features photographs not only on the walls, but also on the floor to create an interactive space. Participants are invited to walk on and across the images to explore different perspectives and engage with the art. In addition to the exhibition at the German Consulate General there will be a talk "Between Everyday Observations, Theorectical Refelctions, and Artistic Experiments" presented by the artist Eva Koethen at Deutsches Hause at New York University on Tuesday, October 15th 2013 at 6:30pm.
